We’re delighted with this addition, but it unfortunately comes at the expense of the light story we had in last year’s entry. If you haven’t bought the game yet or completely new to the game, you might want to look into this beginner’s guide.This is perfect for extended gaming sessions to improve comfort and performance, especially over time when your hands begin to sweat. If you’d rather just jump into Qualifying straight away, I definitely suggest you to at least complete the Track Acclimatisation Programme (TAP).

Highlights from the game’s track set include the “Track de Monaco” for the Monaco Grand Prix and the Suzuka track in Japan. Having tried that mode out, I can confirm that it does help amateur drivers and certainly gives an advantage to pad users but I still prefer the vanilla experience.

They can be termed as “lazy driver’s assists” and should only be used if you don’t want to be bothered by any micromanagement. At these moments, try not to place your vehicle straight in front of the driver behind, especially on straights. For the first time in the F1 game series, the option to use a virtual rear-view mirror has been added. But all things considered, F1 2020 includes a frightening amount of content that makes this an essential for fans of the motorsport. And yes, it seems a little silly to celebrate something we had back in 1996, but I’ve had a hoot playing F1 2020’s splitscreen with my kids.The F1 series has a cool feature allowing you to go back in time to a specific spot; this is useful if you made a mistake and want to correct it. However, I do recommend using an automatic gearbox for controller/keyboard drivers (again, for simplicity and better experience) with pad users switching to manual if comfortable.
